About Us


 

A small team with a huge heart!

 

We’re Dan and Nic — the team behind Gold Coast Meditation. We started our journey together in 2020, right as the world was turning upside down. Meditation had already been a meaningful part of each of our lives, but it was also one of the very first things that brought us closer as a couple. From there, it felt only natural to share our love for the practice by teaching it to others.

At our core, we value adventure, humour, travel, and fun — and we bring that same light-hearted approach into our teaching. We believe meditation doesn’t need to feel heavy or complicated. When it’s simple, accessible, and enjoyable, it’s much easier to make it a lasting part of everyday life.

Sometimes you’ll find us teaching side by side, and other times individually, depending on our schedules. What matters most is that you feel a genuine connection — because the relationship between teacher and student is key. We want you to feel comfortable, welcomed, and at ease in every session.

Our lives are enriched by the connections we hold dear: to each other, to our families and friends, to our community, and to the natural world. Meditation deepens all of those bonds, and we’d love to share that same sense of connection with you.

1. Attend a free intro talk

Our intro talk gives you an overview of the Gold Coast Meditation Being technique, explains the benefits, and answers any questions you may have.

2. Meditation course

Our 3-day Gold Coast Meditation course is made up of three 90-minute sessions. You’ll learn the technique both theoretically and practically with guidance from a certified teacher. By the end of the course, you’ll be confident and self-sufficient in practicing this effortless meditation on your own.
